Welcome

Named after the shipwreck on our beach, the hydrabad holiday park is a great place to bring the family for a relaxed holiday. We have a great play area with, swimming pool, three trampolines, swings, slide and a camp hall. 

Just a five minute walk to a lovely, safe swimming beach which stretches North to the Manawatu River and South to the Hokio River. Our beach also boasts good fishing, both off the beach and off-shore, with boat-launching a breeze. The nearby forest is a great place to take a walk and is host, every year, to the only forest marathon in New Zealand.

There are tennis courts in the domain at the rear of the camp. A short walk to dairy, cafe, small library,Ocean Blue takeaway shop, restaurant and a very welcoming and friendly bowling club. We are also just moments away from the forest, where you can take a leisurely walk.

We have 7 tourist cabins that sleep between 4 and 6 people and two tourist flats that both sleep 6 people. There are 60 powered sites and 20 tent sites.

Communal kitchen with 6 cook tops, oven, microwave and fridge. There is a TV in the large recreation hall where you can play table tennis or have a game of pool.
